Mudjacking
Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry placed below the slab. It has been used for many years and can still be appropriate on some projects.
Key differences to discuss
Ask about material weight, injection-hole size, cure time, expected lift, void filling, access, moisture exposure, and warranty. The best method depends on the slab and contractor's system.
Do not choose on the name alone
A good result depends on diagnosis and execution, not just the material. Drainage and ongoing soil movement still matter whichever lifting method is used.
